Where is the Stompin’ Tom Centre located and how do I get there?
We are located just 6 kms from the beautiful community of Tignish, in the most western part of PEI’s North Cape Coastal Drive. From Tignish, take Route 14 and you’ll find the Stompin’ Tom Centre at 14024 Rt 14. Be sure to enjoy the scenery along the way!
What is the cost of admission to the Stompin’ Tom Centre?
Our 2022 admission fees for the Stompin’ Tom Centre are as follows:
- $10 per person
- $9 for seniors
- $8 for students
- preschoolers are admitted for free
Admission includes access to the Stompin’ Tom Centre, schoolhouse, homestead, grounds, and our free daily concert performance at 1pm.
Admission to our Festival Series concerts and dinner theatre are priced separately.
What forms of payment do you accept on-site and online?
On-site, we accept cash/debit, as well as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Online you can pay via Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, and American Express.
How long should I plan to visit the Stompin’ Tom Centre if I want to get the full experience?
We recommend planning on at least half an hour to go through the museum and schoolhouse (more if you love taking your time when you visit museums). If you plan to enjoy the daily entertainment (1pm – 2pm), plan for an additional hour. And, of course, if you want to enjoy a classic PEI meal at our on-site restaurant, you’ll want to set aside additional time!
Do you need reservations for the free afternoon entertainment?
Reservations are not required, but to avoid disappointment it is recommended that you make reservations for our free concert.
If I want to participate in open mic during the free afternoon concert do I need reserve a spot in advance and/or bring along my own instrument?
We keep our afternoon concerts and open mic pretty casual, so there’s no need to reserve a spot! You are welcome to bring your own instrument, however it’s not necessary – we have instruments on-site!
Is the Stompin’ Tom Centre wheelchair accessible and/or otherwise accessible for persons with physical impairments?
Yes, we are wheelchair accessible and we do our utmost to accommodate any physical impairments.
When does Stompin’ Tom Centre open for the season in 2022 and when does it close? What are your operating hours?
In 2022, we will open June 10th and close on October 1st. We are open daily from 11am to 7pm all season long!
Can children and persons under the age of 19 attend Festival Series concerts?
Yes, children under the age of 19 can attend, but only if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who is not consuming alcohol.
Does the on-site restaurant accommodate different dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.?
Yes, we do offer GF and DF options and try our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Please let us know your restrictions when placing your order.
Are there high chairs available at the restaurant?
Yes, we have one high chair available at our restaurant.
