Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes – Benefit for Kayla Sellick

Kayla Sellick, 36, manager of the STC Gift Shop was diagnosed with Leukemia in April 2025. Kayla has begun Chemotherapy at the Moncton hospital and will spend the next several months in the hospital for treatment and recovery so will be out for the season.

A benefit event will be held in Kayla’s honour on June 8th at the Stompin’ Tom Centre. The benefit will include music by the Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes group, a draw for prizes including a gift basket and a 50/50 draw. Tickets will be for sale in the community and on social media leading up to the event!
Donations can be dropped off at Tignish Initiatives at 101 School St. (above Access PEI Tignish) or contact Leo Ellsworth for pick up at 902-214-0793. Monetary donations can be submitted online at stompintomcentre.com as well.

Proceeds from the benefit will go toward helping Kayla and her family with travel expenses and the costs associated with her care.
