The Ellis Family Band
CCMA and Juno Award nominees, The Ellis Family Band released 15 singles over the years including their career highlighting #1 song, “Thank You for Being My Friend.” From Summerside, Prince Edward Island, the brothers were introduced to traditional PEI fiddle music by their father. That style of music mixed with popular music from the 1970’s helped mold a unique musical sound that can still be heard today in the band’s live performances.
